In the morning
in the moment
all the rage
fight back with passion
fucking the hookers
was a fuck you to her
and those caught in
friendly fire
that burns cold and dark
in modern times.

It isn't a poem, it isn't grammatically correct, it doesn't express a single fully-formed thought. But it was first posted (and most likely written) last Fall.

As noted the first time you'd printed this. You've spoken about how both you and Zod frequent the "ladies of the evening" on a sem1-regular basis. It is therefore only natural to assume that a poem with "Memory" in the title that talks about sleeping with hookers because your wife ... er, because an unidentified woman ... left you, is at least partially autobiographical.

so you deliver pizza
I already told you I don't want to discuss this, details like this can bring a person problems, as I have learned.

Are you willing to give full details on your personal life like this?

You know you're not.

So why are you trying these stunts with me, Jim Senetto?

He's playing Boswell to your Johnson.

Hmm ... that didn't come out right.

In any event, you should be honored.

I have been using some of the resulting material in my own autobiography, but some of the questions I just know are not good for Usenet, and I learned this the hard way.

The "Table Talk" of Boswell of Johnson is of interest, but I'm not so sure that Senetto is going for such a favorable portrait of me:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Table_talk_(literature)

"Table talk is a literary genre, a species of memoir. A collector (biographer, colleague, friend, etc.) records impromptu comments by some famous person (made generally at the dining table or in small get-togethers), in anticipation of their lasting value. The precedent in classical literature was the symposium, such as the Table Talk of Plutarch, though this was a supposed memoir of an occasion, rather than a person.
"Table talk" may also refer to a similar informal conversation, more deliberately engaged in by the famous person, with the direct intent of publication (somewhat analogous to granting an interview)..."

Once a pizza boy, always a pizza boy. I can't imagine who would hire this slacker after he drove the last pizza place to the ground.

It has only 1.5 stars on Yelp, even after a shill gave it 5 stars. A guy from NY even. I've never seen a pizza place with such low ratings. People love pizza, even mediocre pizza but by most all accounts this was horrible.
Such disrespect for pizza brings tears to my eyes, and to think they did this to servicemen and women.

https://www.yelp.com/biz/pizza-roma-columbus

The Highlights:

Manuel L.
While on CQ, I ordered pizza for my Soldiers. After an hour an half no pizza. I called. They said it was enroute. I called 40 minutes later. They were rude and blamed the Army on the late delivery. Then used the excuse 'can't drive and talk on cell phone.' But heard two voices in the car. Then they got upset that I'm mad about my late delivery.
1. Don't make sorry excuses.
2. Don't blame the Army for the pizza being an hour late. A teenager brought it to our room and I followed him out to the car to tell him how unacceptable it was to be so long. His mom was in the car smoking!!!! Who does that???

Lazarus P.
Didn't even bother making an order--called twice and encountered two of the rudest employees I've ever had the displeasure to interact with. When I asked my neighbor about the service, she said they had tried them once and had received a cold plastic pizza two hours after ordering. AVOID.

Michelle H.
Worst service ever!! My son called them because they delivered on Fort Benning and it took over two hours to get here!

Michael L.
This has to be the worst pizza place I've ever ordered from. I was on Staff Duty last night and decided to give them a try since their menu was in our CAC. The woman who answered was super rude. It took them about an hour to deliver. The woman who showed up with our pizza looked like she literally just rolled out of bed after a long meth binge. We are a couple slices before deciding our Meat Lovers was the worst tasting pizza in the world. I'd rather have used this thing to punish a soldier than feed one. To make matters worse I brought the pizza home during the day (our shift ended at 0900) opened the box to find a bug on it! I mean the signs were there. Terrible attitude, terrible service, meth head deliverer, terrible taste....I guess I brought this on myself. I made sure to throw away all the menus they've left in our CAC to make sure no one else makes the mistake of paying 20 bucks for gastritis and food poisoning!

Wesley S.
This is by far the worst Italian food I have ever tasted in my entire life. EVER. First of all it took 2 hours, 15 minutes and 35 seconds for me to receive my order. My garlic bread was stale cold and tasteless and the baked ziti seemed like it was uncooked pasta with ketchup and ground beef. I will NEVER order again all will tell all of the soldiers here at Fort Benning to not even waste their time with this place.

H C.
This place is terrible! I wouldn't even give it a star except for the fact Yelp made me.
I just ordered from there, and it took an hour to deliver. Not only was my food cold, but I'm pretty sure I just found mold in my food. This is by far the worst 'pizza' place I've ever ordered from/around Ft Benning! They should be banned from coming on the installation to solicit to Soldiers.

Jack O.
The pizza was delivered cold. It was mushy, nasty, and definitely not I had in mind when i decided to order a pizza. I called the next day to speak to the owner and voice my concerns. He did offer to send me another pizza...nice gesture but I respectfuly declined. It was bad the first time...round two didn't sound appealing. The owner was a total jerk about it. I told him I was going to post a review online regarding his service and pizza. He said if posted a review online he would sue me for defimation of charater. I chuckled. If my memory serves me correctly speaking the truth is, in no way, defaming anyone's character...IT'S THE TRUTH. I digress... I will never order from this ding dong again. I will not refer his product to anyone. And I will be sure to spread the word through my vast network to stay away from Pizza Roma.

Todd T.
Somewhere between cardboard and actual pizza. I would have a better guess if the pizza arrived hot. But after an hour plus wait, their was cold, over priced and they could not figure out how to charge it to my credit card. The taste left something to be desired for a pizza joint that prides itself on service to this community for the last nineteen years. Bottom line; I will never order pizza from them again.

His menu designs for Parnello's Pizza were comedy gold.
