I see no point in continuing this, Donkey.

You have failed to provide any proof that you've ever had a single poem published in a literary magazine.

How long have you been writing poetry for? 50 years?

And you've never had a single poem published.

I feel like Roddy Piper telling Frankie Williams that he's never won a fight:

Delusional or not, I've had poetry published in over 200 poetry magazines and journals.

You, otoh, haven't had poetry published in 1.

Your only publications were in "Playgrounds," which doesn't count for the following reasons:

1) Playgrounds was not a poetry journal. It was a local listings paper that focused on local talent.
2) You contributed a free column to it where *you* published *your* poetry. IOW: Your poetry was never accepted for publication by an editor.

You apparently believe that you are a better poet than T.S. Eliot, E.E. Cummings and William Carlos Williams, which most readers of poetry would consider delusional, Pendragon.

I didn't say that it was.
So you published your own poetry in a column that you wrote for a free local listings paper that featured local talent.

Do you realize that over 200 small press editors decided that my poetry was good enough to be included in their poetry journals?

Do you understand the vast degree of difference between sneaking your own poetry into your column, and having poetry editors decide to include your poetry in their publications?

You claim to have read "Scavenger's," which listed various small press zines that were seeking poetry submissions. I'm assuming that you submitted your poetry to those zines. Yet not one of those editors felt that you poetry was good enough to include.

A lot of the zines I'd listed among my publication credits, were zines that I'd discovered through "Scavenger's." Their editors published my poetry, but passed on yours. That must really hurt.

Wrong, Donkey.

Playgrounds published your column -- not your poetry.

You are the one who *decided* to include your poetry within the body of your column.

Again, you have never had a poem published in a poetry magazine/journal that wasn't edited/published by you or one of your friends.

Never.
