At the Taco Stand

I often think of my past and the best tacos
I'd share with Kathy on Victory Drive;
when the taco stand closed long ago,
the Thursday special was a buck for five.
Back in 1980 at Buena Vista taco stand,
over from the Zodiac and Mickey's, that music row
at the little table there I'd hold her hand
eating a taco after the rock show.
The red and green sauce there were made from scratch,
hard to decide on which, both mighty fine
though we did decide the green sauce had no match
at the taco stand, her eyes staring into mine.
Nostalgia, alone with chilling wind
and visions of my Lady Katherine.

Took my bitch out for tacos on Victory Drive,
on Thursdays when tacos were a buck for five;
I'd dribble some salsa on top of my dick,
and push Kathy's face down and tell her to lick;
as I chomped on my tacos and sat in my truck,
then I'd pull off her blue jeans and have me a fuck;
then I'd dribble more salsa and get some more head,
while Clay lay asleep in the truck's cargo bed;
then she'd suck off some fucker in truck number two,
and we'd use the five dollars to buy us some brew;
I'd tie Clay's stroller down to the cargo bed's floor,
then head out on the highway to the liquor store;
A few brewskies later and back to my shed,
Where Kathy and I could lie down in our bed
And watch pretty colors the rest of the night;
While back on the pickup's bed, snuggled up tight,
Young Clay snored away like he hadn't a care
All curled up like a kitten on top of the spare.

George "Baby Monkey" Dunce recently claimed that my parody of Will Donkey's "Taco" poem was vastly inferior to the original.
I believe the opposite to be the case, and challenged Mr. Dunce to explain how the Donkey's "Taco" poem was in any way superior to my parody of it.
As per usual, when challenged, Georgie Porgy ran away.

Hmm... I clicked on both of Mr. Porgy's links, and all lead back to *this* thread.

If the "finished sonnet" can be read in another thread, you failed to post the correct link to it.

Of course, one could argue that since my poem is a parody of Will's "old draft," it should be compared with the version it is making fun of.

However, since I doubt that Mr. Porgy's edits have changed the poem in any significant way, I'm willing compare the "finished sonnet" as well. So long as Mr. Porgy figures out how to post a link to it here... or, better still, learns how to copy/paste it.
