Radio Play

It started between friends,
then it turned intoŠ some thing else.
The radio hissed like it was 45 again.
She slipped on the red dressing, silk skin.
The night waited behind the oak door
rubbing it¹s big, black knuckles,

We all have a part to play in the shadows.
Everyone looks better in silver and white.
Black and white, the necktie, the desire:
the knot as each man¹s neck is a dare
see how the plot unravels.
