I've always thought P. D. Wilson is a pretty good poet, but to each his own, I reckon.

When will you be posting a poem of your creation for us to enjoy?

Yeah, I don't have one of those.
I just have a plain old watch.
Keeps pretty good time though.
Lights up when I push the button.

This mobile gizmo is good with time.

I can even see what time it is in other places if I want to.

The mobile gizmo is easier for me than a wristwatch, the band irritates my arm.

Oh, okay. Enjoy your mobile gizmo then.
I'll stick with my plain old cheap watch
that lights up when I push the button, if
you don't mind. I'm not so easily irritated.

The mobile gizmo is a novelty I didn't ask for, but found itself in my hands as being the most economical choice.

I've been in the mode you describe, or close, for most of my life, and a couple of years ago spent a couple of months using only pay telephones for communication, and noticing that the era for those have definitely passed.

I wrote about that in both song and poem, and newsreader prose here, and no doubt it is archived.

But have fun, in your moment.
