Post by Hieronymous CoreyHe just doesn't want anybody to get the wrong idea about Doo-Nanny.
What's so hard to understand about that?
Anyone who is interested in finding out about Doo-Nanny can go here:
http://doo-nanny.com/
And get whatever ideas they want about Doo-Nanny, just don't attempt
to define what /I/ am, and I'm fine with whatever you want to do/be/
think.
Post by Hieronymous CoreyDoo-Nanny is an important
annual event for Will, a right of Spring,
Why not refrain from putting words in my mouth and I'll do likewise
for you, okay? In fact, I know that you want this because of the way
you've whined before when I've "spoken for you".
Post by Hieronymous Coreyand he doesn't want anybody
coming away with the wrong impression.
If you're under the impression that there will be any pot smoking
going on at Doo-Nanny, then you're just plain wrong.
I don't see any reason for any of that stuff, certainly.
Post by Hieronymous Corey Only upstanding,
honorable, law abiding citizens are invited and will be permitted on
the premises.
Well, blatant illegal activities are definitely not needed at the Doo-
Nanny, imo.
Post by Hieronymous CoreyCriminal sorts and ne'er do wells are not only
discouraged, but if found in attendance will be subject to arrest,
imprisonment, and/or public humiliation and physical abuse.
That's more likely to happen on the way to and from the actual Doo-
Nanny, but "criminal sorts" are definitely not the kind of folks *I*
want to hang out with at Doo-Nanny. And I'd wager they'd find it
boring, as well, as they're no doubt more comfortable robbing and
shooting guns and so on.
Post by Hieronymous Corey If you're
under the impression that I'll be there, you're wrong again. Knowing
what I know now, I wouldn't be caught dead anywhere near Will or Doo-
Nanny for fear of being caught dead near Will or Doo-Nanny. Will said
I annoyed him, and I could get shot if I went down there.
Come on, now, Corey, the scene I related to you doesn't just happen
Post by Hieronymous CoreyHow do you respond if the guy behind you at the traffic light honks and says
"Move it, moron"? Do you really think he's trying to pick a fight with you?
And I related a story about what can -and did- happen to a friend of
mine yesterday:
Actually, it seems one of us might get shot down, down in these
parts.
As one of my friends just posted on another friend's page yesterday:
"I've already had to deal with some asshole trying to run me over
today on Eberhardt. And then when I yelled at him to slow down, he
decides to pull a gun on me and to make it worse, after calling CPD,
they did nothing! So, roll with it! [...] They are scary. It'll make
me think twice before yelling at the next thug speeding through my
neighborhood. Hell, they turned off 13th leaving skid marks they were
driving so fast. And all CPD would offer is patrol the neighborhood
more, despite the fact I gave them a tag# and a gun was involved!"
Post by Hieronymous CoreyI have no
reason not to believe him.
Did you ever see Easy Rider? Did you see how that movie ended? That's
the kind of reality that does still exist in Alabama.
Ever see Jackie Gleason as the cop in the Smokey & The Bandit movie?
Those type of people still live... and "enforce the law" down here.
