Apple Montage

Sneaking around
with Cousin Jenny,
smoking menthol
beyond the sheds.

Late summer vacation 1973
in the backwoods of Tennessee.

To the right
behind the barn
were apple trees.

There were several
of those trees
and other trees
behind them
beyond a field
and behind them, other trees.

Later, I stood near
as a crowd
watched Pops and my Uncle
cooking apple butter;
stirring the brown gunk,
boiling in a huge black kettle.

I saw my father
secretly pass
a wine bottle
to my Uncle Clarence.

I went from
breathing cold mist
out back behind the barn,
to breathing
the hot misty steam.

The air smelled of apple fumes
and strong booze.

-Will Dockery

Here is the "Apple Montage" poem, for scrutiny and comment.

FakeJewMikey's psychotropics is mixing with thunderbird wine? Will has, often, defined 'poetry montage'. CocoDePaederast (FakeJewMikey's condom brand) is not able to because of obvious illiteracy.

Here is the "Apple Montage" poem, for scrutiny and comment.
:)
Brilliant and apparently quite subtle montage effect...…...
More subtle than I ever imagined, apparently.
Whines Wee Whiny Willie while sticking his fingers in his ears and squinching his eyes shut.

“Shalom & Erev tov, everyone...PaederastDeSock knows nothing of the mother of my 2 children now in Yisra'el. Neither does NaziQueene whose psychopathy is documented here. He is attempting to equate '14' with immaturity, or infancy. This is how he mangles reality. They were adults in the eyes of halakhah...which FakeJewMikey is decidedly not.”

Obvious montage in poetry form....
If it's sooooooooooooooooooooooo obvious
Apple Montage
Sneaking around
with Cousin Jenny,
smoking menthol
beyond the sheds.
Late summer vacation 1973
in the backwoods of Tennessee.
To the right
behind the barn
were apple trees.
There were several
of those trees
and other trees
behind them
beyond a field
and behind them, other trees.
Later, I stood near
as a crowd
watched Pops and my Uncle
cooking apple butter;
stirring the brown gunk,
boiling in a huge black kettle.
I saw my father
secretly pass
a wine bottle
to my Uncle Clarence.
I went from
breathing cold mist
out back behind the barn,
to breathing
the hot misty steam.
The air smelled of apple fumes
and strong booze.

Agreed.

The answer is clear for all to see: the word "Montage" appears in the title, therefore the poem must be a montage.

Pendragon The Liar acts like he has an iron boilerplate in his head......
What does having a plate in one's head have to do with lying, Lady Bunny? Are you saying that all the American war veterans who have plates in their head from having been wounded while serving our Country are now to be classified as pathological liars?

I hope that upon reading this, you will hang your little bunny head in shame.

Is he? Then perhaps you can explain how having a plate in one's head equates to being a liar?

Really?

And how does having a metaphorical plate in one's head transform one into a liar?

Allow me to take a shot at it: You think that a boilerplate is some kind of hot plate, don't you?

A "hot plate" burning inside your brain would fit in with the tumultuous emotional events surrounding you in the early 1980s.

And, in an even worse example of a metaphor, a "hot plate" in one's brain would cause untold damage which could, possibly make one give vent to insane statements, or "lies."

In short, neither you, nor your favorite sock has any idea what the word "boilerplate" means, and you're either too stupid to realize that you made a mistake or too stubborn to admit it.

Michael Pendragon
“I think some of what they do is worthwhile. For one example: Canada used to set the age of consent for anal sex at 18, 4 years above the age for any other sexual acts; that was a bit of discriminatory legislation NAMBLA played a part in getting rid of.”

In the relative sobriety of the early afternoon, Willie can no longer recall the post he was responding to in a drunken stupor the night before.

And how does having a metaphorical plate in one's head
2a) a head filled with standard text.
2b) a head full of formulaic or hackneyed language.
And both of those fit you well, Pendragon.

But those are not "lies," Willie.

Bunny claimed that the plate in my head (it's actually in my upper jaw, but that's beside the point) has transformed me into a liar.

I'd like for either of you to explain the connection between a metal plate and a propensity for telling lies.

I didn't say they were, Pendragon.

I personally suspect you're a habitual lie simply because... you enjoy lying.

You seem to have forgotten that you were defending Bunny's sub-moronic claim that a boilerplate in my head has turned me into a pathological liar.

We can now conclude that you've found his statement thoroughly indefensible and have back-pedaled off to your usual whines.

Folks from the old days often call me Doc.
No kidding.

But Bunny wrote: "Thanks for the wondrous magick of thy Doc......"

So I am asking what your "Doc" is, and what "wondrous magick" does it have.

Scratch that. I'm not asking.

My question was a rhetorical one because Bunny's meaning was abundantly queer.

So your Doc has no magick? Perhaps you should send it off to California after Bunny's.

Watching the trolls grasping for straws over a typo...
Pathetic.
But is it a typo or a Freudian slip?

"Thanks for the wondrous magick of thy Doc......"

Bunny now claims that he'd meant to type "Thanks for the wondrous magick of thee Doc......," but this sounds equally as homoerotic.

And, leave us not forget that a "typo" (short for "typographical error") is, literally, an error made through the process of type setting (when applicable) or (as it pertains to this group), typing on keyboard.

A typo is, therefore, a technical error: hitting an adjacent key to the one you'd intended, hitting two keys at the same time, hitting a key twice, accidentally cutting out a word when editing, etc.

Typing "thy" for "thee" isn't a technical error. 1) It substitutes a 3-letter word for a 4-letter one, and 2) the "e" key is not adjacent to the "y" key on the keyboard.

It is, however, a cognitive error. At some point in the typing process a synapse or two misfired in Bunny's mind causing him to type a different word than he was thinking.

This is what is known as a "Freudian slip."

Freud posited that all "mistakes" are intentional on a subconscious level -- the "mistake" being a means by which the subconscious attempts to reveal its message to the conscious portion of the human psyche.

In this instance, Bunny has subconsciously metamorphosed his nickname for you, "Doc," into an "object" or attribute of you. IOW: "Doc" = "dick."

And let's face it, Bunny's sycophantic relationship with you, wherein he obsessively "slurps" each and every one of your posts, would make the "Doc"/"dick" association far too obvious for one to deny the psychological connection.
